Our Mission

The Chausie Breed Committee is comprised of exhibitors in TICA who are dedicated to the advancement of the Chausie to Championship Status within TICA ( The International Cat Association)

The Chausie Breed Committee will contnue to encourage a strong presence in all TICA Regions by exhibiting Chausies and holding educational seminars whenever possible.

THE CHAUSIE BREED COMMITTEE IS COMPRISED OF BREEDERS AND EXHIBITORS IN TICA WHO ARE DEDICATED TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHAUSIE TO CHAMPIONSHIP STATUS WITHIN TICA (THE INTERNATIONAL CAT ASSOCIATION).

THE CHAUSIE BREED COMMITTEE WILL CONTINUE TO ENCOURAGE A STRONG PRESENCE IN ALL TICA REGIONS BY EXHIBITNG CHAUSIES AND HOLDING EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS WHENEVER POSSIBLE. WE ADVOCATE THE MENTORING OF NEW BREEDERS AND EXHIBITORS, BOTH IN BREEDING PROGRAMS AND SHOW EXPERIENCE.

THE COMMITTEE IS WORKING TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND CAT FANCY IN HOW TO IDENTIFY THE CHAUSIE WHILE DEVELOPING A DISTINCTIVE CHAMPIONSHIP BREED WITH THE PLEASANT, COMPANIONABLE TEMPERAMENT OF A DOMESTIC COMPANION CAT.

The Future of the Chausie Breed In TICA is in the hands of the breeders.

The goal is to breed to the standard and advance the breed to Championship Status within TICA while retaining characteristics of the ancestor.
